This two-day specialty course has been developed to explore guidelines to working with the pregnant client and to give clear, evidence-based treatment approaches for women with different types of musculoskeletal dysfunctions.
This course is appropriate for Physical Therapists and Pilates Instructors and is intermediate in nature. A sound knowledge base in therapeutic exercise, Pilates and basic anatomy is required.

Course Educator
This Women’s Health course is taught by Liz Wilson from Perth, Australia.
Liz Wilson is currently the owner/director of The Perth Pilates Studio and a member of the Australian Pilates Method Association (APMA) as a Level 2 (Practitioner). She holds certifications in mat, studio and rehabilitation Pilates and is a certified personal trainer and SmartBall rehabilitation practitioner. She is currently completing a degree in physiotherapy. Liz has worked with a wide variety of clients including dancers from the West Australian Ballet and athletes from the West Australian Institute of Sport. As a Polestar Educator Liz conducts teacher training programs throughout Australasia and gives regular continuing education workshops for organizations such as the APMA and special interest groups of the Australian Physiotherapy Association. |
