Reformer Class for Masters
What happens when movement becomes a conversation – without words?
This 60-minute experiential Reformer Master Class invites participants to work in pairs, with two people sharing one Reformer, to explore nonverbal communication, tactile connection, presence, and resonance. Moving between the roles of mover and facilitator, partners will experience how thoughtful touch, observation, breath, rhythm, and simply being present with another person can influence the movement experience. Rather than using touch only to correct or direct, we’ll explore tactile cueing as a way to listen, communicate, support, and invite greater awareness.
The class will also explore what it means to hold space for another person – to be attentive without interfering, supportive without controlling, and curious about how our own presence may influence the experience we share.
Through familiar Reformer movement, partner exploration, and moments of reflection, we’ll investigate the experience of resonance: how two people can attune to one another through movement, touch, timing, and attention.
This is an opportunity to experience the Reformer differently – not simply as a piece of equipment, but as a shared space for movement, communication, connection, and discovery.
