FEEDBACK FROM PARTICIPANTS
“I really enjoyed the two sessions I attended: Curious Bodies on the Reformer and Fascia in Motion. In the first one, I enjoyed exploring different exercises, it was a shame we didn’t have a reformer each so the class could flow.
In the second session, I also enjoyed the different exercises. The only little thing for me was that it mentioned fascia in the title and workshop in the description so I thought it was going to be more informative (educational) relating exercises to the fascia. Maybe it was just my interpretation. But don’t get me wrong. I loved the class and exploring the reformer exercises and my body.” Douglas Delfim Machado, Auckland
“A massive thanks to Maree, Andrew and Kimberley for organising such an incredible weekend of education and movement. One of the reasons I chose to study with Polestar was the incredible mentorship and on going education, this weekend was another superb example of this.
Each workshop was delivered with incredible knowledge, energy and skill. So many takeaways from the weekend.” Morag Gurnsey, The Pilates Room, Cambridge
Fascia in Motion: “Be a Walking Tree”
Fascia functions as a sensory organ, with nerves embedded throughout the fascial tissue. This workshop creates and explores a positive movement experience in which the fascial system moves with freedom, shifting perspective toward functional wellbeing and joy.
An intermediate to advanced Reformer session offering a whole-body experience that deepens understanding of how the body functions as a connected, intelligent system. The “Walking Tree” analogy creates a sense of a cellular dance within through movements that focus on many elements at once.
