The Age of Wisdom

Perimenopause and menopause are significant stages of life, bringing physiological, mental, and emotional changes that can influence strength, mobility, energy, balance, recovery, bone health, and overall quality of life. Every person’s experience is unique. Understanding these changes provides an opportunity to adapt, build capacity, and continue moving with confidence and purpose.

This evidence-informed workshop explores the physiological changes associated with the menopause transition and the role of movement in supporting the changing body. Participants will experience practical movement strategies inspired by Pilates and contemporary movement science that support mobility, strength, posture, balance, breathing, confidence, and adaptability.

The workshop is educational rather than prescriptive and is designed to help movement professionals better understand and support both women and men navigating this stage of life.

This session is part of the two-day Polestar International Intensive with Shelly Power and Christi Idavoy – two amazing international senior Polestar Educators.

To register for this particular session, you will need to register for both days – individual sessions are not available.
